Rachel and Clint’s wedding morning at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center felt so perfectly Austin.

Warm sunshine, bright wildflowers, and that unmistakable strong Texas morning light pouring through the gardens from the very beginning of the day.

One of my favorite parts of the morning was their first look along one of the garden trails. Clint stood quietly waiting while Rachel walked toward him through the sunlight and greenery, and the whole moment felt incredibly calm and genuine.

The kind of moment that doesn’t need much direction because it already says everything on its own.

After the first look, we spent some time wandering through the gardens for portraits before the ceremony began.

The Wildflower Center always photographs beautifully, but the morning light that day gave everything such a warm, vibrant Texas feel.

Everyone then gathered beneath the bright spring sky for the ceremony surrounded by family and friends.

They chose to keep the day simple and intentional with a small morning ceremony surrounded by close family and friends, and honestly, the slower pace made everything feel even more meaningful.

There was space to breathe, space to enjoy the moment, and space for all the little in-between moments to naturally unfold.

Rachel’s daughter, Soli, was also part of the morning, and I loved getting to document the quiet little moments they shared together throughout the day.

These smaller weddings always remind me that the most meaningful moments are often the quietest ones — a hand squeeze, a smile across the garden, family gathering close, sunlight moving through the trees.

Just two people, fully themselves, starting something beautiful together.
